Discover Our Mission and Core Values
Our church’s core values are the guiding principles of our entire congregation. They dictate our behavior, establish our organizational culture, and assist us in maintaining our ministry focus.
Acts 2:42-47 provides the framework for our core values:
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Our mission statement builds on this foundational scripture:
We are a Church for every generation who holistically develop people to be devoted disciples of Jesus Christ and instruments of transformation in the world.
Our core values are represented through the acrostic H.O.M.E, standing for:
We exist to create opportunities for people to experience spiritual, physical, and emotional wholeness in Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
We exist to empower people to serve others in need for the good of humanity and the glory of God. (Matthew 25:35-36)
We exist to provide opportunities for worship, growth, service, and fellowship for people of all ages (Titus 2:1-8)
We exist to transform our world as representatives of Christ and His Kingdom. (Matthew 5:13-16)
